Nardhaven (meaning "being north" or "made of north" in the old tongue) is a small settlement near the Bay of Belfalas. While it has a small population, it does have one major export that is coveted by all - shards of the Obsidian Stone.

Although chunks of the obsidian stone are tightly regulated, small shards are easily smuggled and sold in back alley deals. Even a small shard can augment the power of a caster or give a commoner the ability to use magic.
